The chemical acid method combines sodium chlorite (strong alkali) and hydrochloric acid (strong acid) to produce ClO2(gas). This method is called the chemical acid method (CAM). It’s material can’t be distinguished by the remaining liquid.

The function of sterilization in Chlorine Dioxide is O2. However, Chlorine in Chlorine Dioxide is stable as Sodium chloride in salt. Bleach is a Chlorine-based disinfectant. Chlorine Dioxide is an oxygen-based disinfectant. Therefore, Chlorine Dioxide is not Chlorine.
After ClO2 is absorbed into the human body, it becomes Chlorite root soon and resolve into Chloride which can be absorbed by human. Some Chloride will be expelled through urine a few hours or few days later. some Chlorite root didn’t resolve into chloride will be exhausted from the urine.
Unique®ClO2 is safe, effective and does not leave a residue. O3(ozone) is a powerful sterilization agent but it causes cancer. Alcoholic sterilization is useless when using for viruses with pallium ( such as Enterovirus, Norovirus, Polio virus and Rotavirus). Hydrogen Peroxide Solution and bleach are worse options.
Bacteria can be removed using a minimum of 1000 ppm bleach. Lower concentrations result in low activity of the bleach solution. In addition, bleach can cause Trihalomethans which may cause cancer. The alcohol needs more than 75 % to sterilize most part of bacteria. It can’t kill Hydrophilic Virus( non- pallium virus) and it stimulates skin which may cause cancer. However, bacteria can be almost killed by only 0.1~50ppm Chlorine Dioxide.
Most people get confused by Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide when they are using. Briefly speaking, Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide (Alkaline) adds Activator(acid) will become Chlorine Dioxide(disinfectants). In other words, Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide is not Chlorine Dioxide.
